Our Environmental Policy runs through the Business and our operations are carried out fully in accordance with environmental legislation and codes of practice. StandardOne further accepts it's responsibilities in ensuring that it's work is designed in such a manner as to minimise it's impact on the environment and that environmental issues will always be considered for any tasks undertaken by the Company. Wherever practicable, preference will be given to methods of working that reduce emissions of noise, dust, waste and fumes. Preference will also be given, wherever practicable, to purchasing products and materials that can be used, recycled and/or disposed of without any residual damaging effect on the environment.

Considerate construction

Considerate Constructores - The codes of Considerate Practice commit those sites and companies registered with the Scheme to be considerate and good neighbours, as well as respectful, environmentally conscious, responsible and accounatable. Registered sites and companies must also consider their appearance and safety.

Safety Pass Aliance

Working on Petrol Station Forecourts presents some very specific issues, not least the safety of the public. For this reason the SPA and UK PIA have developed the Petrol Retail Safety Passport to ensure that workers in the industry and particularly contractors working on forecourts are trained to meet specific standards. Oil Companies and Supermarket Petrol retailers require contractors to complete this two day course before they are allowed to work on their petrol stations.
